WORKPLACE
A UNIQUE APPROACH TO WORKPLACE PORTRAITS
When I was in my teens, I was inspired by my mom, Maggie, a single parent. She started her business, MAR Lighting, after learning and honing her skills as a sales rep for a company based in Fargo, North Dakota, in the early nineties. The product was lighting for commercial use. She was, at that time, just one of a handful of women in that field. After a few years, she opened her own successful business and managed it for 25 years.
I'm passionate about highlighting trailblazers in all fields who function as role models for the next generation.
Let’s face it: most people dread photo day in the workplace. I get it. Posing for the camera can feel weird, stiff, and the furthest thing away from an enjoyable experience.
But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be that way.
I’ve been behind the lens for a long time (like, film-camera-long), and I specialize in making people feel like themselves in front of the camera—even the ones who’d rather do just about anything else.
My approach to headshots and workplace portraits? Keep it light, keep it quick, and bring out the best version of you.
Never been in front of a camera? No problem. I’ll give you some quick and easy tips to take the perfect headshot in just a minute or two. Whether it’s for your website, LinkedIn, or team page, I’ll help you look polished, not posed.
