New Year, new photos of YOU!

The month of January means fresh starts and new beginnings. Let this year be the one where you achieve all of your goals!

Regardless of how you feel about New Year’s resolutions, having dreams and aspirations for your future is never a bad thing. Brand-new branding images can open doors, spark confidence, and put you right at the top of the search.

Your work isn’t just a mark or a color palette. It’s the way you show up, the feeling you bring, and how people experience working with you.

That’s where I can help.

Images that feel forced never do you any favors. When photos feel natural, trust follows. I’ve photographed a wide range of folks—from solo business owners to nonprofits and creatives—and I know how to build an environment where people can relax and feel like themselves in front of the camera.

Whether you’re starting something on your own, running a small organization, or taking those first steps towards becoming your own boss, I’ll help you create photos that feel easy, genuine, and true to you. Together, we’ll create a versatile set of images you can use on your website and across social media platforms that allow you to show up with confidence.

We’ll talk, laugh, and keep things light while I capture the moments that reflect your personality, your story, and that spark that highlights your individuality.

Let’s spruce up your profile pics and get you noticed in 2026!

Let's update your look!

GLOW IN THE SNOW

Everyone focuses on fun in the sun, but there is a truly beautiful glow to the snow!

Winter photo sessions often get overlooked. Everyone wants to stay bundled up inside, and I don’t blame you! However, as a location scout, there’s no place I won’t venture out into, and no terrain I have not traveled. There are so many incredible locations for a standout session, sure to make your photos look totally unique.

Snow has a way of giving the great outdoors of Wisconsin a soft, storybook feel you don’t see any other time of year. The pure white backdrop, wide open spaces, and naturally peaceful vibe are perfect for capturing moments of playful snow angels, bundled-up laughter, and naturally carefree moments.

Upcoming Gallery Shows

NADIANA ART GALLERY

If you haven’t visited NAdiaNA Art Gallery yet, now is the perfect time. I’m thrilled to be included in their newest exhibition, Echoes of the Deep: Water’s Artistic Voice, opening Friday, January 9th, from 6:00–8:00 pm.

Water has long been a source of inspiration. It’s reflective, fluid, and endlessly transformative. This juried group exhibition invites artists to interpret water in all its forms: its movement and stillness, its power and mystery. Through this theme, the show celebrates water as a universal force that connects and sustains life.

If you can’t make it to opening night, the exhibition will remain on view through February 13th.

Rosenquist Fine Art

Be sure to stop by Rosenquist Fine Art during the next Gallery Night MKE for the opening reception of “Playlist” on Friday, January 16th, from 6:00–8:30 pm. I’m honored to have my work included alongside other accomplished artists who all contributed a piece for this show inspired by a song that holds personal meaning.

What makes this event especially fun is that the gallery didn’t stop at the artwork; they’ve also created a playlist featuring all of the songs represented in the exhibition. It’s a thoughtful, unique experience that brings the work to life in a whole new way, and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it!

This juried exhibition will be on view through January 31st.

Wisconsin Craft’s “Creative Playground”

This year’s Wisconsin Craft Members Exhibition is titled “Creative Playground: Working in Collaboration,” and I’m so excited to co-chair this show with my friend and fellow artist Roxane Mayeur!

Collaboration rooted in play invites openness, trust, and creative discovery. By working together and sharing artistic techniques, we are creating space for imagination to thrive, ideas to grow, and meaningful connections to form… and all while having some fun in the process!

The opening reception is on February 13th from 5:00-7:30 pm at the Art and Cultures Gallery at Alverno College.

I hope to see you all soon!

Location scouting DOESN’T HIBERNATE

Winter doesn’t slow down my location scouting one bit. In fact, snowy months often lead to some of my favorite finds. Wisconsin winters have a magic that deserves to be documented far more often.

FAQ: What is location scouting?

Location scouting is all about discovering great places for photo shoots or video projects. I collaborate with creatives from all over to match stories with settings, and it’s one of the parts of my work I enjoy most.

Part detective, part dot-connector, I’ve been discovering and securing ideal settings for national commercials, print, and video production throughout the beautiful state of Wisconsin for decades. I love meeting the quirky and interesting people, places, and things, and the challenge of stumbling upon the perfect spot for each project.

Some of my most frequently requested locations include: homes of all sizes (from cozy to expansive), lake houses, workshops and garages; offices ranging from cubicles to open, modern spaces; clinics and hospital settings; and farmland.

I scout primarily in the Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay areas, but depending on the scope of a project, I’m happy to explore anywhere across Wisconsin.

Have a space that feels camera-ready? I’d love to hear about it.

Let me scout it out!

END-OF-YEAR GRATITUDE

I wanted to highlight an extraordinary family that I’ve had the privilege of photographing throughout the years.

I first met them when the kids were just babies, and recently I had the opportunity to photograph them again. Watching a family grow over time and being invited back into their lives to document it never stops feeling special. It truly is the perfect way to make memories.

Being trusted year after year is something I don’t take lightly. The bonds I create with people through this work are what make it so meaningful to me, and those relationships are something I’m incredibly proud of.

It was such a beautiful way to end the year.

Thank you so much for taking a moment to sit and stay. Hopefully, this gave you something to smile about today!
